RENAMA begins implementation of School Lighting Project!!

Renew’N’Able Malawi has a received a grant from The Scottish Government through its Scottish based partner International Resources & Recycling Institute to implement a project over the next 18 months that will result in 5 primary schools located in remote off-grid areas being provided with solar light to enable standard 7 & 8 learners to study at night and prepare for National Examinations.

This Project is inspired by the success of another Scottish Government funded Rural Energy Kiosk that RENAMA & IRRI implemented in Dzenje Village Phalombe District that has resulted in Dzenje Primary School being one of the best performing schools in Malawi and getting recognition from the State President for its sterling performance.
